“This space was one that reconnected and reignited my faith and deepened my sense of community. I also feel it provided me with proof that Black Baha’is are taken care of and supported. That pro-blackness is not contradictory to the Faith, rather it’s necessary as we unlearn racism as a country.”

“Since graduating undergrad, I’ve had the hardest time trying to figure out what I wanted to do next. Ultimately, the whole weekend made me wake up and realize what I wanted to do for graduate school. Now I’m applying to a program that will hopefully enable me to focus on the intersections of the Black American experience, the core values of the faith, multimedia, writing. I’ve come home with an incredible sense of clarity in what I want to do with my life and how to intertwine all the aspects of my life I thought I couldn’t before.”
